Artist Statement

I use different methods to create my art, but my artistic process follows a pattern— I create art beginning with a theme/ idea. My inspiration comes from various media: books, movies, music… The creation of an art piece varies depending on the concept and medium— whether it be 2D, 3D or 4D.

I gravitate towards any art that is story driven. Thus, my art becomes a means to convey my stories. I am particularly interested in media which lends itself especially well to narrative storytelling, which can easily convey plot, such as comics and animation.

I consider myself a conceptual artist— I begin with an idea, then look for the best way to communicate it. My goal is to use my art to express the stories I want to tell and make me the best artist I can be.
